Healthwatch Liverpool Coronavirus Update

We want to reassure everyone that we are doing what we can to continue operating as normal during the current Coronavirus pandemic. We’re still here to gather your feedback about health and social care services locally, and provide you with information about services in Liverpool.

However, we are making some slight changes to the way we operate during the pandemic, as our staff have now switched to home working following Government advice. We have stopped conducting Enter and View visits in care homes and social care settings as well as our Listening Events in hospitals, and we will also be limiting our community engagement. This is following government advice to help reduce the spread of the disease, particularly to vulnerable and at-risk groups.

Our enquiry line is still up and running, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, but this will now operate on a call back system. When you call, you will be asked to leave a message, your name, and a contact number or email, and a member of our team will call you back to discuss your enquiry. You can still email us at enquiries@healthwatchliverpool.co.uk, or get in touch via our website. 

We are also aware that the pandemic, and in particularly strict self-isolation measures, will have a significant impact on our communities, particularly on mental health and wellbeing, and access to health and care services. We will do the best we can to update you on what is happening with community activities, and health and care services locally. Please feel free to get in touch to let us know how you, or people you know, are being affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. With your feedback, we can help shape a local response that supports everyone in our communities during this difficult time.
