Sunflowers want to hear from men affected by cancer - have your say and win a football shirt!
Sunflowers is an independent charity which has been supporting local people living with or beyond cancer, for the last 30 years. They help cancer patients, survivors and carers from all over Merseyside with a broad range of services including counselling, complementary therapies, support groups, exercise classes, art & craft therapies and lots more.
The majority of people using services at Sunflowers are female, but this doesn't tie in with local cancer statistics which show that more men are diagnosed with cancer than women. They are conducting a survey to find out how they can make sure they provide the services men affected by cancer need and want.
They want to hear from men who:
- Have cancer now
- Are recovering from cancer or had cancer more than 5 years ago
- Are caring for someone with cancer
- Have lost a loved one to cancer
Your responses to the questions in the document below can help Sunflowers to help more local men affected by cancer. And if that's not enough, completed questionnaires returned by Friday 30 September 2016 will be entered into a free prize draw. Two lucky winners will receive a football (or rugby) shirt of their choice! What are you waiting for?
If you have any questions call Karen on 0151 726 8934.
