Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment Consultation has launched

Liverpool Health and Wellbeing Board have launched a consultation on the pharmacy needs of the local population.

The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment is a statutory document that assesses the pharmacy needs of the local population and will be used as the framework to inform commissioning pharmacy services for the next three years. This includes dispensing chemist services as well as public health and other services that pharmacies may provide.

You can have your say by filling in the short survey by May 31st 2017 using the button below.

For a paper copy of the survey you can call 0151 233 5407 any time on Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:30pm and provide your name and postal address.

What happens next?

This public consultation will form part of the legally required needs assessment. A draft of the needs assessment will be sent to the Health and Wellbeing Board in July, followed by a formal 60 day consultation in September.

The agreed policy will then be published on 1st April 2018.

What happens with my views?

Any information provided in this survey will be processed by Liverpool City Council in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
