Health and Wellbeing Board
Established and hosted by local authorities, health and wellbeing boards bring together the NHS, public health, adult social care and children's services, elected representatives and Local Healthwatch, to plan how best to meet the needs of their local population and tackle local inequalities in health.
Members of the public have the right to attend the Health and Wellbeing Board meetings as observers and to submit questions to the board. These questions should be submitted in writing at least 3 days in advance. These should be sent to Peter Seddon who is the Council's Support Officer for the Health and Wellbeing Board on 0151 233 0412 or to Peter.Seddon@liverpool.gov.uk. If you prefer, you can forward your question to Healthwatch Liverpool and we will submit them on your behalf.
Health and Wellbeing Strategy
The Health and Wellbeing Strategy is intended to be a starting point of action, based upon the findings of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. While the Health and Wellbeing Board have taken responsibility for developing the strategy, the vision and inspiration have also come from the experience of many partners.
